This page covers our livery fees and also introduces you to the equestrian education side of life in our schooling program. We only take a limited amount of horses or ponies in at any one time, as we aim at quality not quantity through our yard. We take in a limited amount of schooling liveries and cover any aspect of schooling you want us to. We work with all ages of horses or ponies, including yearlings who may need to learn the boundaries. Or start your youngster with his groundwork training including lunging, longreining and be introduced to the saddle and "started". You are welcome to watch or have a lesson instead of a schooling session to check that you are pressing the correct buttons!
This is my colt Sonny who is 20 moths old - part of his training is simply to stand and wait before l let him loose, even though he knows the other horse is outside!
Why send your horse in for Schooling? Well it could be that you want your horse to progress on with some new work or simply have a horsey MOT and check that he is working correctly! Whatever it is you will have a training plan be put in place for you to follow, it will be based on your aims and ambitions.
We recommend that horses in training come to us for a minimum of two weeks in order to let them settle in with and get use to a new routime. We assess your horse's progress and keep you informed of how he is coping with his schooling and how we are achieving this.
Schooling including full livery is £240 per week: This covers any areas that your horse may need some help with or simply to progress on. Vet and farrier at owners cost

We must be doing something right.
This is Melody, whom we bred and is now 43years old!!
She is seen here having a leg stretch with some of the Minis who she has been babysitter to in their young days.
It is a wise person who acknowledges their ponies or horses limitations, as well as their own, do this and you will have a great partnership!
